Tesco stores can also be found in eleven other countries. Tesco is the third largest retailer in the world, with annual sales approaching $100 billion and nearly half a million employees worldwide. Fresh & Easy is rapidly expanding and wants to be our neighborhood market. But workers, families and neighbors need to decide if Fresh & Easy is the right choice for our communities.
We are the people who work, live and shop at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets. Fresh & Easy stores are our workplaces, our neighbors, and our grocery stores.
We know that grocery stores and other businesses are part of the fabric of our neighborhoods. We have a stake in seeing that those businesses contribute to our community and don’t undermine local values.
Fresh & Easy is part of one of the world’s largest corporations, but has made some serious missteps in the way they treat our communities and their own workers since opening in 2007.
If Fresh & Easy wants to serve our communities, they must first listen to our voices.
